Starting July 1st, 2026, new commercial pricing kicks in as Microsoft bundles more into the M365, O365, and EMS suites. If you have a renewal coming up after July, keep an eye out for updates to your bill.

What you’re getting:

  • Microsoft Defender for Office 365 Plan 1: Safe Links and anti-phishing protection are now baked in. From a governance standpoint, these new Defender policies are on by default and cannot be disabled.
  • Intune Plan 2: You’re getting Remote Help and Advanced Analytics included.
  • More Room: Every user gets an extra 50 GB of Exchange Online storage.

If you have a renewal coming up after July, it’s a good time to map out how these built-in defaults layer with your existing security stack. We’re helping teams look at this end-to-end by verifying policy stacking and identifying where they might be able to consolidate third-party tools they’re currently paying for separately.
