Microsoft is expanding the Agent 365 Dashboard within Copilot Analytics to give line managers direct visibility into team-level AI usage.
Copilot Analytics for managers extends reporting features beyond administrative teams. Rollout begins in late August 2026. Specifically, the dashboard tracks active agents, active users, total sessions, and returning-user trends scoped directly to a manager’s direct reports. Furthermore, it aggregates metrics for agents built both inside Microsoft 365 Copilot and through external developer platforms.
Prerequisite Thresholds and Licensing Metrics
Before enabling dashboard access, administrators must verify that tenant prerequisites are met:
- Licensing requirements: Tenants must hold active Agent 365 licensing alongside at least 50 assigned Microsoft 365 Copilot licenses.
- Activity thresholds: Reporting displays data only after a team crosses baseline usage metrics, preventing empty dashboard views.
- Governance controls: Administrators manage visibility using Viva feature access management (VFAM) policies applied at the tenant, group, or individual user level.
