Why did we build it?

​​Poor navigation isolates key content, and if users can’t find it, it may as well not exist. Web site studies show that more than half of all users prefer navigation to searching. The local navigation can be personalized for each site but if too many links are added its confusing. Collapsible headings are a great way to overcome that concern.

What does it do?

Accordion Menus enables the local navigation to collapse links to headings via a mouse click or “mouse over”.

  • Optional styles can create advanced effects

  • Navigation links are defined using the out of the box navigation management (in site settings)

  • Heading groupings will automatically hide or reveal child links as you hover over the parent heading
