InfoPath & SharePoint No-Code Workflow Basics
This session provides the introduction to where
InfoPath fits into business processes, the requirements for using it and
provides a framework for the rest of the course.
This session will get into the use of form
templates vs. starting from scratch. Users will get to create their own form
that will be used throughout the course.
Forms can be very powerful when they pull data
from other sources to use in the form for lookups and other fields. Users will
learn how to connect to external data sources and use that datasource to
populate controls in the form.
InfoPath and SharePoint 2010 work great
together. In this session you will publish your form to a SharePoint site, and
create views to help with reporting on form results.

creating your own vs. utilizing OOTB workflows. We will review the different
types of workflows that can be created like global, reusable or list based
